Mission

What our content is trying to do

The goal of RateLaunchpad content is to help consumers understand insurance shopping questions, clarify what the platform does, and decide whether a request page is the right next step. We aim to make the site useful before a form is ever submitted.

What we aim for

  • Clear explanations of insurance terms and shopping scenarios.
  • Accurate descriptions of what RateLaunchpad is and is not.
  • Conservative claims that avoid promising pricing, approval, or contact outcomes.

What we avoid

  • Guaranteeing savings, approvals, or a set number of partner responses.
  • Presenting marketing pages as individualized insurance advice.
  • Masking compensation relationships or referral behavior.

Sourcing

How pages are researched and updated

Standard How we apply it
State requirements We reference state-specific coverage frameworks when a guide is written for a particular state, such as Florida auto insurance requirements.
Platform disclosures We align public content with the platform's actual consent, routing, privacy, and disclosure flows so pages do not imply a business model the platform does not use.
Consumer usefulness We prioritize explanations that help consumers understand what information to gather, what tradeoffs exist, and when a request page might fit.
Ongoing updates Key trust pages and major money pages are reviewed when disclosures change, tracking changes materially affect the flow, or new guide clusters are published.

Corrections

How we handle fixes and updates

Content updates

When a page is materially updated for clarity, disclosures, or coverage explanations, the page may be revised and its metadata or trust language updated accordingly.

Errors

If we discover a factual or platform-description error, we correct it as quickly as practical and review any related pages using similar language.

Feedback

Questions or correction requests can be sent to privacy@ratelaunchpad.com or through the contact page.

Independence

How editorial pages interact with advertising and referral relationships

RateLaunchpad may receive compensation through advertising, referral placement, lead delivery, or click-through activity. That means our content must be explicit about the platform model and avoid presenting a paid partner relationship as an independent endorsement. For more detail, read the advertising disclosure.
